Karla grew up helping her father build custom homes in the Austin Area. She learned how to roof, paint, and do small wood repairs and other tasks while working with her father and brothers. Her two brothers were paint contractors and every weekend she would help her brothers out. These experiences fostered her love of design and her keen ability to pick the correct color choices for any project.

In 1991, Karla decided to start her own painting company, working for 12 local builders and employing 15 workers. She learned all aspects of painting and in the process, gained many happy customers. In 1995, she changed the focus of her business to home owners only, feeling she could make the biggest impact helping them with their color decisions and other tasks.

Karla has always been dependable and reasonable with her customers. She believes in the mantra that the customer is always right and to ensure this, she works closely with home owners to ensure that they are always satisfied.
